NEWPORT NEWS, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Perfect Commerce, LLC (www.perfect.com)—owner and operator of the industry’s preferred global independent supplier network—today announced a product enhancement release of Perfect Commerce’s FlexInvoice, an Open Supplier Network application that now allows email suppliers to electronically convert purchase orders into invoices with one simple click. Now, Perfect Commerce customers can completely eliminate any paper processing from their procure-to-pay process.
“We’re excited to bring this unique and highly-valued functionality to the market because of what it means for buyers and enterprises – they can finally close the gap in automation with their low volume email suppliers”
The new enhancements to Perfect Commerce’s FlexInvoice application enables low-volume email suppliers, the last frontier for paper processing, to immediately and electronically convert any purchase orders that have been received into invoices. By fully automating this gap, Perfect Commerce is reducing delays and potential keying errors that can happen when email suppliers handle invoices.
“We’re excited to bring this unique and highly-valued functionality to the market because of what it means for buyers and enterprises – they can finally close the gap in automation with their low volume email suppliers,” said Jason Vincelette, vice president of product management, Perfect Commerce. “This represents a huge leap in supplier management automation, making even the smallest and most infrequent of transactions fully auditable and removing errors that can cost organizations so much time and expense.”
By working with customers, Perfect Commerce was able to identify this opportunity and help solve this industry pain point to make indirect supply management completely paperless and fully auditable for the first time. Perfect is continually delivering ways to improve the buyer and supplier experience, reduce risk and enhance the buyer/supplier relationship.
Added benefits include: suppliers quickly viewing whether or not a purchase order has already been invoiced and the ability for suppliers to create partial and credit invoices. This new feature improves the purchasing experience of Perfect Commerce’s buyers, allowing buyers to receive an electronic invoice in the Invoice Manager tool instead of receiving the traditional paper invoice in the mail from low volume suppliers.
