WHO:
Facebook’s Vice President of Business and Marketing
Partnerships, David Fischer, and YouTube’s Director of Product, Hunter
Walk, will be keynote speakers at the 2013 Future of Media Conference at
the Stanford Graduate School of Business on February 13, 2013. They will
be joined by leaders across the media industry to discuss the challenges
facing the industry and the interplay between traditional and new forms
of media.
WHAT:
The media and entertainment industry is at a
crossroads, with technological innovation disrupting the way that
content is created and distributed. The 2013 Future of Media Conference
will host eight panels around news, music, social media, mobile, film,
television and online video, gaming, and media investing. These panels
will foster a dialogue amongst leaders in new and old media to explore
challenges such as user engagement, content monetization, and industry
cost structures.
