AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Over the last 30 years, the city of Austin has grown and changed in myriad and dramatic ways – and one local company, The Steam Team, has had the privilege of going along for the ride. The company, which started cleaning with a locally-focused business plan, celebrates its 30th year in business this month. And much like Austin itself, The Steam Team has seen rapid growth and many changes over the years.
“We are first and foremost an Austin, Texas company”
Today, the company is a leader throughout Texas for many home and emergency services, from simple cleaning to major disaster restoration projects. The Steam Team is trusted as the go-to company for thousands of customers. The company is now a leader and knowledge base for industry partners; companies from Arkansas to Round Rock can come learn from our staff. The Steam Team doesn't hold secrets and is always open for others to learn. Owner, David Marquardt, says this expert knowledge level, training and love of all things local has helped set the company a part from day one of its 30-year history. It's this approach that has helped us grow for 3 decades.
“We are first and foremost an Austin, Texas company,” said David Marquardt. “This community has a very special and strong connection to businesses and institutions that are born and bred locally. And from the beginning, we've tried to foster and build that connection. It has worked very well for us, and we're proud to say that our list of high profile clients trust us in a way that has made us feel this success.”
The Company To Call At 3 A.M.
Over the last 30 years, The Steam Team's core business has evolved in some pretty dramatic ways. The company initially worked primarily in traditional steam cleaning, and it is still a large part of the firm's business. However, the company has increasingly focused on emergency services like water and fire damage restoration. Marquardt said that it is good to be there for customers when they need it the most.
“Every customer call is very important to us,” said Marquardt. “But maybe the most important ones we get are the ones at three o'clock in the morning, when someone's home or business has been damaged by water or fire. When this happens, our singular purpose is to address and remedy the problem as quickly as possible. We are all about getting people and their lives back to normal as quickly as possible.”
The company will celebrate its 30th anniversary, by continuing to create the most outstanding service experience possible by educating our customers on how to take the best care of their homes and business.
