MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Vanguard Software Solutions, a software technology provider since 1995 and a leader in broadcast quality video compression technology since 2004, today announced that it has completed its company name change to Vanguard Video. In the last few years, and especially in 2012, the company underwent a major transformation in its business and its market strategy, converting itself from a general software services company into an enterprise dedicated to providing professional video compression products. In addition, the company has expanded beyond software technology, building a strong team of FPGA IP core developers that also focus on video compression products. That transformation is now complete with an expanded engineering team.
