Aetna Names New Pennsylvania Medicaid Plan CEO

PHILADELPHIA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aetna (NYSE: AET) announced that Denise Croce has been named the chief executive officer of Aetna Better Health® of Pennsylvania. Aetna Better Health manages Medicaid benefits for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Croce most recently served as chief operating officer of MajestaCare, an Aetna-administered managed health care plan in Virginia.

Croce has more than 20 years of experience in diversified health care programs. At MajestaCare, she was integral in the recent expansion into the southwest region of Virginia, and implemented operations for the provider-owned organization. She has served in leadership positions with a number of Medicaid organizations since beginning her career as a registered nurse and going on to earn a master’s degree in health administration as a hospital and managed health care executive.
